Bum Marketing Reviews at its Best

If you have been making money online for some time now, you might have heard of the Bum Marketing Method. Now if you remember the Bum Marketing method, it talked about using articles and blogs to pick up low volume Clickbank traffic. The idea behind it is golden but its time to take it to the next level.

Now there is a couple of different ways you can use this technique with your review site. You can use Squidoo and Worpress blogs from the start which we will go into more detail on later. Here we are talking about picking up low volume traffic for many Clickbank Products through a review page.

Now the idea behind this method is to pick up all traffic no matter what the competition is. One example that I have is the Profit Lance. For about a month, I was on the first page of Google for “Profit Lance Reviews.” I couldn’t get into the search engines on “The Profit Lance because there was just too much competition. When I created my review page, I saw this and decided to break the search engine for” Profit Lance Review”. This worked for a little it as I was making about 3 $42 sales a month from free search engine traffic. This keyword was probably not the best choice but either way I still made it in for about a month because “Profit Lance Review” had a lot less competition at the time.

This is what it’s about. On the more popular products, you are looking for terms that is related to the product but have less competition so it’s easy to get in the search engine. On the less popular products, you want to use the most general term especially if it is a new product. You see, the Bum marketing method was all about getting free traffic on easy terms but it didn’t really go into how you get good traffic on the more popular terms. This has to be done with less popular terms. You must look for the niche in everything and exploit it.

So now that you know the basics of this technique, you can really make your website expand quickly. The key to success is one product per page. If you segregate many different products in the same category among different pages, you have a good chance at getting indexed on every page. Now you can take this to the next level by targeting your traffic. Take for example. Do you think you will make more money “free divorce advice”, or “fast divorce advice”? Now obviously if you use the keyword free divorce advice, you probably won’t convert many visitors to customers. Now the keyword “fast divorce advice” might do much better because this would target someone who is already interested in getting some quick divorce answers. These people are ready to buy and these are the people that we want.

Don’t use keywords that are not going to convert. You are wasting your own time. Even the keywords “divorce reviews” might not produce any sales as well. Make sure the keywords are targeted to the people who are interested in buying. This will improve your chances of getting sales. Now the reason that we would want to use review sites for this method is that we have more options then with a blog. On our review site we can get them to sign up for our list. We can give them free gifts. Or we could possibly get a sale. Using a review site will expand your possibilities of how you can work the people that come to your website. So just remember. Even though a product might be popular and get sales, doesn’t mean it’s a good product to sell. You wont be able to determine this until your sites been up for awhile. Do yourself a favor and start it off right.

Low volume keywords that are targeted to people who want to buy the product. This should do well. Good Luck.

Three main reasons why I wouldn’t use ‘free articles’ on a blog

1. A key to growing blogs is unique and useful information - Kunci untuk mengembangkan blog adalah unik dan informasinya bermanfaat
if you want to grow a blog into a profitable and sustainable venture you need to provide your readers with useful and unique information. Post the above article and you’re 1 in 54,000 (and counting).

2. A key to growing blogs is personal voice and connection - Kunci untuk mengembangkan blog adalah pendapat pribadi dan koneksi
if your blog is filled with free articles you’ll end up with a collection of content that is disjointed, that doesn’t personally connect with readers and is devoid of personality. Blog readers will subscribe and become loyal to a blog when they feel a personal connection and want to track with someone over the long haul. Not when they see a disjointed collecting of articles by a different person every day.

3. A key to ranking well in Search Engines is ‘Unique’ content - Kunci untuk mendapatkan rangking yang bagus di search engine adalah konten yang unik.
using an article that appears 54,000 times on the web almost guarantees that it’ll never be found by one of the biggest sources of traffic out there - Google. For starters you’re competing with 54,000 other versions of the same article, secondly you’re competing with the ‘free article’ sites you got the post off (remember they generate millions of links from their free articles) and on top of all that Google hates what it calls ‘duplicate content’ and works hard to not rank highly content that is republished over and over again. The article above does appear in the rankings for a search for ’successful blogging’ in the #1 position - but the site that ranks for it is a free article site.

The long and short of it is that as a blogger you’re doing yourself and your readers a disservice by using ‘free articles’.

disservice = perbuatan yang merugikan
